Disaster preparedness Class for Seniors – Ava, MO

SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging is hosting a free class on disaster preparedness on February 27 at the Senior Center in Ava, Mo. The class will last from 9:30am to 10:30am. The class will educate seniors on how to make a plan ahead of time to prepare for a disaster, how to build a disaster kit and how to stay informed of potential disasters in your community. The class was originally scheduled for February 13, but has been moved due to weather concerns. People who sign up for the classes will be entered into a drawing to receive a free disaster kit.
