Spirit FM PSA Policy
On Air PSA
Keep in mind that our listening audience is not local to any community in our coverage area. Therefore, PSA’s acceptable for an on-air spot, should be for an event that is expected to draw participants from more than just one town or church. Ideally, the event coordinator should be expecting someone to drive up to an hour to attend and the event would be appropriate for members of all denominations.
a. ROS – For a donation of at least $50 (either money or tickets), Spirit FM will produce a pre-recorded PSA for a non-profit organization and place that spot in our PSA rotation. These spots may run a maximum of three weeks and there is no guaranteed number of plays. The spot will usually run at least 2 times a day.
b. PRIORITY – For a donation of $150 (either money or tickets), Spirit FM will produce a pre-recorded PSA for a non-profit organization that will air a minimum of 5 times a day for one week. The maximum number of organizations that can have a priority PSA in any given week is four. Priority PSA’s can run for as many weeks as the non-profit wants to donate towards.
*Information regarding PSA’s that will run on the air for the donation amounts above should be sent to amy@spiritfm.org with instruction on what you would like in the spot and a flyer in a jpg form if available. Please include if you are requesting a ROS or PRIORITY spot.
*Please call the station with your donation at 573-346-3200, as spots cannot be produced
until the donation is received.
*A minimum two week notice (preferably four weeks) prior to the time you wish for the spot to run is requested.
Online Calendar PSA – FREE
Of course, any non-profit event can be posted to our Events Calendar on our website for FREE.
When we have time to fill, we may be able to mention some of these calendar events on the air.
