Ministry In Crisis                                                      by Jim McDermott, General Manager

You would have to be living under a VERY large rock to not know what is going on in the world with the coronavirus pandemic. It has consumed the news, our lives and our whole culture. It has changed our "normal." But during this time when so many are afraid and the media seems to be fueling those fears, Spirit FM has tried to be a safe haven of faith in God as well as encouragement and hope. Yes, we have given out much-needed information and used our station to fill in some gaps. We honored health care works with parking lot prayer rallies, we broadcast an Easter Good Friday special and a Resurrection Day sunrise service. We have also tried to keep our sense of humor in providing entertaining radio. In short: we have been doing what we are called to do - CONNECT YOU TO GOD AND EACH OTHER!

As this event plays out over the next few months, please feel free to tune in anytime you need a break from the fear mongering and politically dividing news on the media and Facebook. Thank you for continuing your support for YOUR radio connection.
